Nõmme Kalju FC’s french midfield engine Reginald Mbu Alidor extended his contract on Christmas Eve until the end of 2019 season.
25-years old LOSC Lille youth system player Reginald Mbu Alidor joined Nõmme Kalju in 2014. With five seasons Reginald has played 140 Premium League games, in addition he has represented Kalju 18 times in UEFA Europa League. In 2015 Reginald won Estonian Cup with Kalju and this season he won first championship of his career.
”I’m really happy that I had opportunity to extend my contract and by that to continue my development process in this club. New and interesting challenges are waiting for me and my teammates for growing in international level,” commented Reginald. ”I will continue to give everything for this club,” he added.
Club president Kuno Tehva took Reginald contract extension together with next words:”It’s really nice if such a talented player who has been in our club for 5 years extends his contract and shows trust and respect towards our club by that. We will do everything we can to make his decision to be in favor for his career.”
”Reginald has been since 2014, when he joined our club, our midfield cornerstone by demonstraiting his class, competitive spirit and ability to develop. As a fresh Estonian Champion he will grow even more when Nõmme Kalju FC will start playing in UEFA Champions League,” added Tehva.
In addition to his footballer career, Reginald has family in Estonia and recently he got his first son.
