Nõmme Kalju could not wish better start to their UEFA Europa League 2014/15 season, defeating Iceland Cup winner Reykjavik Fram in 1st qualification round first leg match.
Estonian club, who had very successful European campaign last season, defeating HJK Helsinki (Finland) in Champions League second qualification round, gave supporters a lot of hope with away win.
Only goal of the game was scored in 62th minute, when Brazilian midfielder Fabio Prates nodded header into Fram’s goal, giving visitors the lead. The result stayed and Kalju will have 1:0 lead in second leg match, hosting Iceland team in Tallinn, Kadrioru stadium.
Winner of this pair will play against Poland club Lech Poznan.
