Nõmme Kalju signed historic contract with clubs own youth product Henrik Pürg, who signed for 3 years, with club having option to extend it.
“I am very happy to sign contract with club, where I developed as player and got chance to play in top level, Premium league and UEFA Europa League. My main aim is to continue developing as player and play well, then the playing time and national team call-ups will come,” Pürg said after signing contract.
Kalju’s sports director Sergei Terehhov added: “Very important contract in Nõmme Kalju’s history, because no youth product of us has reached to contract with Kalju. Henrik Proved to everybody, that he has what it takes and he is considered in very import roll for next season.”
Pürg, centreback and right-back, made he’s debut in July, but he broke into first team lineup, making 10 games and scoring one goal from header. He started season in Esiliiga, but he played two games in UEFA Europa League, starting historic 1:0 win over Lech Poznan from starting eleven.
He broke into youth teams this year, having made 15 apperances in blue shirt and he’s outstanding form earned him a call-up into senior Estonian national team for game against Jordania.
